Coat of arms

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a trading sailing ship Argent garnished Gules and rigged Argent, sailing beneath a modern throughout bridge Argent, in central chief an eradicated peach-tree Or fruited Gules Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PESSEGUEIRO DO VOUGA".
Meaning:
The base wavy is probably representing Vouga River. The bridge is Ponte da Linha do Vouga. The peach-tree (Port.: pessegueiro) is a canting element.
