Shield Argent, issuant from base a mound Sable, upon it a tower Azure masoned Argent with port and windows Sable, flanked by two olive branches Vert fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "ALVITES".

Alvites Commune is one of the 30 communes of Mirandela Municipality; it had 237 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 17.8 km².
