Krasnystaw - rural commune, Krasnystaw County, Lubelskie Voivodship.
Gmina Krasnystaw is a rural gmina (commune) in Krasnystaw County, Lublin Voivodship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the town of Krasnystaw, although the town is not part of the territory of the commune.
Area: 150.96 sq.km (58.3 sq.mi); Population: 9,142 (2006).

An agricultural commune; land under cultivation - 71%; forests - 18%
