Overview

Perloja (Varena District) - on a silver field with green base a golden armed brown bison with a golden Latin cross on its head. Flag proportions 5:6, fringe is golden, finial is a golden tip with an openwork Latin cross and knob, staff is green. The charge of arms granted in 1792 follows the example of Kaunas city arms published in an armory of 18th century, changing the colours and misinterpreting wild ox as bison.
