Flag

Located in Nagoya City Aichi Prefecture and established in 1950. The embroidered ceremonial flag has purple background with a gold-colored emblem and gold fringe. The design of the university emblem was deliberated and decided by the Council in 1950, and the European name of the university, NAGOYA CITY UNIVERSITY, was also carefully studied and discussed by the Council. Later, in September 2011, the emblem was adopted as the university's emblem in the university regulations, and is used on official items such as degree certificates. The circular emblem with the word "大學" in it.

Track and field club; The club flag has blue background with a white logo mark and horizontally written kanji university and club name in black. The logo mark was designed by Professor Emeritus Kawasaki of the Faculty of Design in 2000, and is a simple combination of the initials NCU of NAGOYA CITY UNIVERSITY. The business cards and name tags with the logo mark are used for branding school from other schools.
