The town emblem was adopted on Jun 21st 1972 but there is no flag law.
The green flag has an orange town emblem with a white fimbriation in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized katakana コ Ko of Kohoku.
It represents a reconciliation and a solidarity of the town and an improvement
of the bright industrial culture.
