The city emblem was adopted on Dec 13th 2013 by Notice No 176 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a yellow city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana タ Ta of Takizawa. It represents an image of the city which is developing in dissonantly beautiful, straight and unique manner..
