It is not known what flag is currently used in Muthanna Governorate.

Governor Faleh al-Ziyadi, as governor from 2015 to around 2019 or 2020 used a
desk flag depicting a governorate logo; this specific logo depicts the common
logo over a background that is a gradient, of white (top) to blue. I cannot find
any images of recent governors using this flag. I should note that the image
appears to go into its edges, clearly a sign the print had not been big enough.
Logo
Over a green disc outlined in green, it reads at
the top of its border "REPUBLIC OF IRAQ" in Arabic and in white. Going around
the green outline are white olive branches of peace. Over it, a green rectangle
reads "AL-MUTHANNA GOVERNORATE" in blue. A map of Iraq is depicted over it,
outlined in black. At the bottom-right of this map, the Governorate boundaries
are in green. It also depicts a green palm tree over it, signifying palm
cultivation as a major industry. As the highlight of the logo, at the
intersection of the olive branches is the Mask of Warka circa 3200-3000 BC,
referencing the thousands of years of the region's history especially around
Uruk; apparently, it is the first accurate depiction of the human face.
