Flag of Sarthe

The flag used by the Deaprtmental Council of Sarthe (photo) is horizontally divided white-green-white with the Council's logo in the central green stripe and beneath on the white field the logotypes of social networks where the Council has official accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and the URL of its website. The former flag of Sarthe (photo) was white with the word "Sarthe", a curved grey line from the logo, and the full logo in small size at the upper hoist.
In 2015, General Councils were renamed to Departmental Councils. The Departmental Council modified its logo, replacing the words "Conseil général" by the words "Le département".
