The municipality of Cipérez (278 inhabitants in 2016, 10,466 ha) is located 60 km of Salamanca.

Symbols of Cipérez

The flag and arms of Cipérez are prescribed by an Agreement adopted on 27 April 2017 by the Municipal Council, signed on 12 June 2017 by the Mayor, and published on 26 June 2017 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 120, p. 25,313 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular in proportions 1:1 made of a red or gules panel with four white crosses patty in saltire and the coat of arms of Cipérez in the center and another two on the flanks, one dexter and one sinister.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Argent a fountain pouring water with waves in turn argent and azure, 1b. Or five fleurs-de-lis azure in saltire, 2. Azure an arm presenting a sanctity halo or to a stone argent the halo surrounding a field argent inscribed with the capital letters "S.S." sable. The shield surmounted with the today's Royal Spanish crown.

The symbols, designed by the heraldist Chechu Lambarri, were unveiled on 17 August 2017. The flag in actual use (photo, photo) has proportions 2:3.
