The municipality of Navaconcejo (1,990 inhabitants in 2019; 5,140 ha) is located 100 km north-east of Cáceres and 30 km north-east of Plasencia.

Flag of Navaconcejo

The flag (photo, photo) and arms of Navaconcejo, adopted on 5 August 1987 and 10 June 1988 by the Municipal Council and validated on 15 April 1988 by the Royal Academy of History, are prescribed by an Order issued on 14 July 1988 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 26 July 1988 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 59, p. 908 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular. Per bend sinister green and white. Charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Argent a castle azure masoned sable port and windows gules surrounded by a pine eradicated vert and a chestnut, 2. Vert a cross argent with three-pointed ends standing on three steps of the same. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The second quarter of the arms features the calvary of Navalconcejo (photo).
