The company was based København (reported 1963), Frederiksberg (reported 1981) and finally in Holte (reported 1999). The company was founded in 1920 by Captain A.N. Petersen, who died in 1941. In the early years the company enjoyed a close association with A/S Det Dansk-Franske Dampskibsselskab, as well as being managing owners for several Danish shipping companies but in 1979 the company brokers took over the ownership and it became a shipbroking company only. The flags were divided of red and blue by white bendy lines, thin from both short edges (see left image above), thin from upper hoist corner to lower fly corner (see central image above) or broad from both short edges (see right image above),

White flag with a red seven-pointed star in the middle, an elongated and symmetrical Danish national flag placed along the upper edge of the flag, and a red stripe charged with "PROGRESS" in white placed along the lower edge of the flag. I guess this is an other Maersk-related company.
Ivan Sache, 16 Nov 2002
No, not Maersk. Besides, the company seems to have gone belly-up in the summer of 2000. There was talk of a management buy-out, but that seems to have failed.
