Höchenschwand Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, a dexter Azure a stag forcene Or, at sinister Gules a fess Argent.
Meaning:
The village belonged to Austria until 1806 and the St. Blasien Monastery had special rights. The dexter half is alluding to St. Blasien, the sinister half to Austria.
