Tacherting Coat of Arms

Shield Azure two grain stalks Or in saltire, each with leaf and ear, in chief a cogwheel Argent, in base a prehistoric urn of the same.
Meaning:
Stalks and cogwheel are representing agriculture and industries. The urn is referring to the many archaeological finds in the village. A Roman settlement had been in nearby Lohen.
