Krauchenwies Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Argent a ladder Gules issuant from a triplemount Vert, beneath Gules a stag statant Or.
Meaning:
Ladder and triplemount were canting elements, taken from the arms of the Lords of Leiterberg, i.e. ladder mountain, local rulers and successors of the Lords of Krauchenwies. In 1290 the village was sold to the Habsburg kin. The stag is referring to the Counts of Sigmaringen, who had superior cognisance in the village.
