Kieselbronn Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a webfoot Or.
Meaning:
The webfoot could be found on local boundary stones from 1704. It was in use by several municipalities as a clearly recognisable local symbol. It is not proven that it is based on the personal arms of Johannes Entenfuß (1516-1547), which means "duck foot". He was abbot of Maulbronn. A part of the village was sold to the Maulbronn Abbey in 1368 and became a dominion of Württemberg in 1504. The other part was a possession of local knights. In 1806 the village came completely under the sovereignty of Württemberg. It was swapped to Baden in 1810. The tinctures are those of Baden and were fixed in 1907.

The arms were adopted by the municipality in 1907. The banner was approved on 5 November 1987 by the county administration, published in GABl 688/1988.
