It is a green-white-green vertical triband with ratio of stripes approx. and centred arms.

Shield Argent, an eradicated linden Vert, flanked at dexter by a triangular inescutcheon, charged with an eagle Gules armed Or, and at sinister by a helmet Azure, crested by a wing Sable and linden leaves reversed Or.
Meaning:
The arms first appeared on a local seal from 1349. The tree is representing a grove (German: Wald) and considered to be canting. Shield and helmet are referring to the Margraves of Brandenburg, the former rulers.
