Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (= white) shield is a green, eradicated fir tree. The red chief is divided by a silver (= white) bend, which is superimposed by a black arrow.
Meaning:
The tree is alluding to the forest clearances southeast of München in the Middle Ages, which created Höhenkirchen. The chief displays the arms of the Schrenck zu Egmating family. Johann Heinrich Schrenck, landlord of Höhenkirchen gained special privileges in 1630. In 1978 the municipality of Siegertsbrunn was incorporated by Höhenkirchen. The name was changed in 1978.
