Kinsau Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a bend sinister wavy Or, above right Sable a coronet Or, beneath left Vert a slipper orchid's blossom Or.
Meaning:
The bend sinister wavy is symbolising the Lech River and rafting of timber as important former business line. The coronet is punning, as the name of the municipality means "king's meadow". The orchid (Latin: Cypripedium) is representing the remarkable alpine flora in the area. The tinctures black and gold are stressing the close relationships to Schongau City. The Schongau Spital had been the manorial lord and since 1451 owned the right of patronage over the local parish church.
