Description of banner:
It is a blue - yellow - blue triband with ratio 1:2:1. The charges of the coat of amrs are placed into a blue bannerhead.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue field is a silver (=white) stag's head topped by a golden Latin cross. In the chief are three golden apples ordered horizontally.
Meaning:
According to source the colours are those of the dukes of Geldern, the former rulers. The stag's head awith cross is symbolizing St.Hubert and the apples are symbolizing St. Nicolas/. They are the patron saints of Schaephuysen and Rheurdt.
