Shield Gules a church Argent with one tower and a fir Or growing behind the church.
The church is a representation of the Baroque parish church, dedicated to St. Mark, due to art history the most important building in the southern Bavarian Forest. Its predecessor had been the centre of the extended local parish since 1476. The golden fir is symbolising forestal riches.
