Köngen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a bell Argent.
Meaning:
The bell is known from prints of the local seals since 1904. The bell is alluding to an urban legend about the pig-bell (German: Sauglocke), once hidden in the soil during a war and grubbed out by pigs. The tinctures were fixed in 1929.
