The shield is black with a golden bordure, ending in three so called "crosses of atonement". Emerging from the centre are three connected silver leaves of chestnut.
Meaning:
The crosses are related to real crosses in the village. Chestnuts are the predominant species of trees in the village. The colours gold-black-silver are token from the arms of the Küllstedt kin.
