The shield is silver, semy of green oak leaves. The main charge id St. Martin, riding a black horse, nimbed golden, dressed in golden clad armour, robed green and red, dividing his red coat by a silver sword hilted gold, before him is a kneeling beggar, bearded and dressed just with green trousers.
Meaning:
The oak leaves are symbolizing the Eichsfeld region. St. Martin is the local patron saint.
