It is a red-white vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top. Under the shield is an embowed black inscription "GEMEINDE ARRACH".

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a sinister facing demi-wyvern Gules tongued Or, at sinister Gules a crozier Argent in pale, shield abased parted by a fess wavy parted per pale of Azure and Or.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is a representation of Weißer Regen, a river and also a canting element, representing the suffix "-ach", which means a little river. The wyvern is the heraldic animal of the Diepoldinger kin and of the Margraviate of Cham. The crozier is reminding on the Benedictine Rott Monastery, which had been the most important local manorial lord until the 17th century. The monastery also minted the clerical life in the village since the 14th century. The tinctures blue and golden are those of the Nothafft family, who owned the Lichteneck district since 1741 and for a short time at the end of the 15th century the Hohenwarth district. Both districts (Bavarian: Hofmarken ) played an important role in the village.
