The yellow quarter represents a wheat field; the significance of agriculture for the parish is highlighted by the wheat garb.
The green quarter represents the forest resources, highlighted by the two trees.
The blue quarter represents the numerous lakes and rivers, and highlights the pure and clean water where all kinds of fish thrive. The tent symbolizes the arrival of pioneers, starting with Indians. The tent also highlights the picturesque sites, especially Lac à Jim, and outdoors leisure.

The red color of the scroll highlights the courage, energy, kindness, drive and spirit that powered the ancestors in the building of the parish, inspired by Christian perseverance.
