The municipal flag of the Town of Sedgewick, Alberta (2006 population:
865) features a hand water pump along with the motto "Best Water in
Alberta".

I suspect the motto is the result of a
recent (and probably annual) survey of water quality in Canadian
municipalities, where a ranking was produced town by town. I seem to
recall Abbotsford, BC, came out with the best water in Canada, but its
flag has a strawberry flower, so it seems to enjoy its ranking quietly.
