The Flag

On January, 3, 2005, by Decree number 1 by the President of the Republic of Belarus adopted new symbols in the Region of Mogilyov (or the Mogilyov Voblast`), and including - the coat of arms and flag of Mogilyov City (ãîðîä Ìîãèë¸â). The flag is silver (white), 1:2. In the centre of avers (only on avers!) is coat of arms of Mogilyov City. Coat of arms is azure baroque shield. In azure there are three silver towers on the green (verte) basis. In an open gate there is a knight in a silver armour and with the sword lifted above a head. Above a gate there is a round red (gule) shield, on which is silver horseman with a sword and a shield (s.c. the Pursuit).
