KF Skënderbeu Korçë was founded in 1929, succeeding the early Vllazëria founded on 15 April 1909. The club won the Albanian League in 1933, 2011 and 2012. In 2011, the club lost in the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA champions' League against APOEL Nicosia (Cyprus) (home: 0-2; away: 0-4).

The club's supporters use different red and white flags, which can be seen on a few photos available on the Internet:
- a square flag, quartered red-white;
- a rectangular flag, checkered 2 x 3 red-white;
- a rectangular flag, horizontally divided red-white;
- a rectangular flag, vertically divided red-white.

Liqenasi / Pustec

The former municipality (komuna) of Liqenasi / Pustec was inhabited by the officially recognized ethnic Macedonian minority in Albania (1,500 inhabitants in 2007). The place is also known as Mala Prespa, a part of the region of Prespa, split between Macedonia, Albania and Greece.
The flag of Liqenasi / Pustec (photo), adopted on 19 September 2005 by the Municipal Council, was red with the municipal emblem in the center, featuring the Sun of Vergina.
