Blazon: I sølv to buede blå flanker. In English: Argent flanks azure.
Approved by the royal resolution of 8 July 1983 after a drawing by Einar H.
Skjervold. [c2j87]
The design is a stylized representation of the waterfall Trongfoss in the
Nidelva River - among rock formation where the river has it deepest flow near Klaebu. Today it provides hydroelectric power.
[c2j87] also pints out that it is a quite
different arms from those of Kvam in Hordaland.

I guess a proper circumvention for Klæbu
would have been "Argent, two (semi-)disks azure issuant from dexter and sinister".)
