Shield parted per pale; at dexter parted per fess, above Or a trefoil Vert, beneath Vert a key Or and a sword of the same in saltire; at sinister Sable two bends Or.
Meaning:
Sword and key are the attributes of St. Paul and St. Peter, the local patron saints. The trefoil is taken from the seal of the local church. The trefoil is also considered to be an old local symbol. The sinister half shows the family arms of the Trebra kin. The family owned large estates and played a major role in the development of the village.
