Shield Or, an abbot Argent dressed by a frock Sable and shoes Argent, holding a chalice Argent by his sinister arm and giving blessings by his dexter arm, in dexter chief two 6-point stars Azure in fess.
Meaning:
The abbot (German: Abt) is canting. He appeared on local seals since 1739 and on a stamp from 1900. The pattern changed in details. The stars are a representation of the former municipalities of Abstbessingen and Billeben, which had been incorporated on 1 July 1950.
