Shield Gules, a 6-spoked wheel Argent, flanked by four heraldic roses Or, seeded Azure and barbed Vert.
Meaning:
Rosenthal was founded in 1327 by Mathias of Buchegg, Archbishop of Mainz. The oldest seal with prints since 1350 is probably made around 1330. It already displayed the current pattern. The roses are taken from the family arms of the archbishop. Seals from the 15th century displayed the wheel in a shield, surrounded by roses. Since 1641 the arms displayed a wheel and three roses with their stems issuant from wheel. In 1972 the original pattern was restored.
