Harz is a county in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The county was established by merging the former counties of Halberstadt, Quedlinburg and Wernigerode as well as the city of Falkenstein (from the Aschersleben-Staßfurt County) as part of the administrative reform of 1 July 2007.
