The Band

Located on the north shores of Lake Wanapitei, Wahnapitae First Nation is a signatory of the Robinson-Huron Treaty (1850) and an Ojibway community of the Anishinabek Nation. The community has a land base of 3.2 km X 3.2 km

The Flag

The flag is white with a map of Lake Wanapitei in the centre on which are a heron, Canada goose, and pine marten's head, with the name arched over it in red.
