The Band

Taykwa Tagamou Nation, formerly known as New Post First Nation, is a Cree First Nations band government whose reserve community is in the Cochrane District in Ontario, along the Abitibi River. As of March, 2012, they had a total registered population of 440 people.

The Flag

The flag is white with a central emblem depicting a frame showing a sunset scene over a lakeside, overlain be spruce tree, and with four black feathers hanging from it.
