Description of the flag

Bay-Waveland Yacht Club. Est: 1896. Location: Bay Saint Louis, MS.
Burgee: Broad Pennant 5:7, crutch 2.0 units (image). Red field with white fimbriation (0.5 unit wide) at top and bottom fly. Field superimposed by white letters BWYC interspersed with three white dots in line with crutch.

The club was reorganized in 1921 as the Bay-Waveland Yacht and Athletic Club, and again in 1949 reverting to its original name.

Burgee post 1949? Pennant 3:5 (image). Blue field (1.0 unit wide next to hoist) superimposed by white letters BW and a red field (1.5 units wide next to fly) superimposed by white letters YC. All sides fimbriated white within a blue outer fimbriation (both 0.1 unit wide).
