California State University San Marcos is one of 23 campuses that make up the California State University system. Cal State San Marcos was founded in 1989 in San Marcos, San Diego County, California. It currently (Fall 2019) boasts a student body population of nearly 14,000 undergraduates and more than 600 graduate students, according to the school's Wikipedia entry.
