Shown above is the former flag of the Chicago Fire FC club team in MLS. This one uses the team's logo that was official from the team's founding in 1997 until the logo was changed in 2019. I saw this flag in 2015 during a local match between Chicago Fire FC and DC United. The flag features the team's former logo, in the style of a fire department Maltese cross logo, in dark blue centered on a horizontal tri-band of red-white-red, with the central white stripe fimbriated white as well. I have yet to see what the team's flag has changed to following the 2019 change to the logo.

With the crest changing again next year (, I highly doubt it except for some promotional flags and items produced by the MLS shop at However, there is a flag used at Toyota Park (now SeatGeek Stadium) where the club officially used a red flag with the club badge in the center, with the charge of a silver star outlined in red to denote their 1998 league title above their crest.
