Introduction: Bears Franchise

The Chicago Bears are one of only two remaining founding professional American football franchises in the National Football League (NFL). The other is today's Arizona Cardinals who were also originally started in Chicago, Illinois. Today, the Bears compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division, and their over-all record (at the end of the 2016 football season) is nine NFL Championships (pre-Super Bowl) and one Super Bowl won in 1985 where they crushed the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX by the lopsided score of 46-10.

The franchise was first started in Decatur, Illinois, in 1919, but was moved to Chicago in 1921. The team first played their home games at Wrigley Field in Chicago, but moved to Soldier Field in 1970.
Note: Be aware that there are a host of manufacturer's variants of these and other fan flags being marketed for "Bears" fans. This includes garden flags, banners, and pennants.

Chicago Bears World Championship Flag 1946

In the 1940s the Chicago Bears were known as the "The Monsters of the Midway" and wearing their now-famous "C" helmets. The 1946 National Football League Championship game was the 14th annual NFL championship game and the last NFL game to ever be played at the Polo Grounds. The Bears defeated the New York Giants for their seventh league title and this throwback World Championship flag was made to mark the historic occasion.
