Waco Unveils New City Flag
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, Waco City Council adopted and unveiled a new flag design replacing the previous suspension bridge design. The original flag, designed by Mr. Gwen Steward in 1985, has served the City well for over three decades.

The flag is probably 3:5 and is made up of the colors red in the upper half and blue on the lower half. The bridge is a suspension (which goes over the Brazos River at University Parks Dr. between Franklin Ave. and Washington Ave. and takes up the middle part and is in white and Waco is in white.
