Description of the flag

Howe, Texas adopted a new city flag in March 2014: http://howeenterprise.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Volume-1-Edition-2.pdf. It is white, with a centered black ring, inside which is a large star in the Texas flag colors.

A red-white-blue horizontal tricolor, white band twice the width of the others. In center a gold diamond superimposed on a black rectangle.

On the site: www.howetx.org/CityInformation.htm it is said that this is the official city flag, designed in 1972 by Councilwoman Carrie Waller.
