Description of the flag

Named for Andrew Briscoe (1810-1849), signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence
County Seat: Silverton   Area: 887 square miles   Pop. (2000): 1,790

Members of the Century of Progress Club designed a flag for Briscoe County in 1976, however no record of its adoption could be found.
