Flag

According to emails from Town Clerk Lora Thompson and Promotions Director Dianna Ward, the town of Tabor City does not have an official flag. However, the flag currently used is called "The Eyes of Tabor," which was the winner of a contest for the town's 2005 centennial celebration. The design and name come from the pre-1945 high school song of the same name (which uses the tune of "The Eyes of Texas" or "I've Been Working on the Railroad").

As one enters Tabor City along the main highway, route 701, there is a giant flagpole with the city flag.
