The flag

The city of Independence has confirmed me it has a flag, indicating it is on their web page, but has not provided us with an image of it.
Valentin Poposki, 22 December 2010

Do they mean they use the Sicilian Trinarcia as their city flag? It is flying at town hall in the photo at the top of the Mayor's webpage (townofindependence.com/MayorsOffice/tabid/56/Default.aspx). Many of the town's residents are of Sicilian ancestry, and the town's Sicilian Heritage Festival's website has a page on the flag, but it does not mention it being used as the town flag (http://www.indysicilianfest.com/The_Sicilian_Flag.php).
