Description of the flag

A new flag adopted for Seneca Township, Illinois in 2012: mchenrycountyblog.com/2012/09/13/seneca-township-hoists-new-flag/. The flag was created as an Eagle Project by Life Scout Jarrett Mathews.
Dave Fowler, 26 August 2014

The flag fades from yellow to very pale yellow from hoist to fly, using sun rays in deeper and lighter tones of yellow emanating from an Indian's head, wearing a feathered headdress. Toward the fly is a clump of bullrushes in dark green, and overall the name Seneca Township in black, outlined in white. Below is Established 1850.
