Flag

Henry County is known to have a flag, but the details are unavailable.
John Johnson, 5 August 2010

The flag of Henry County, Iowa is a red field with a seal like device in the center. The device is made of a golden ring with black outlines over a white field. At the top of the ring is the county name while at the bottom of the ring is the state name. In the centerpiece of the device is a black vintage steam locomotive with parts of it colored gold, like the lights and pipes, or red such as the plow and wheels. A black line protrudes from the trains plow where two all-golden corn stalks grow out of it.

I think the drawing accurately shows the seal but is too small for the flag. On the photo you can see folds of the flag; the vertical fold to the right of the seal probably goes down the center of the right half of the flag. Therefore, the red background should be wider and, probably, taller.
