Coat of arms

Shield Argent, a mount Sable garnished Argent, in chief an orbicular cross Gules at dexter and a cross patty Gules, charged with a Greek cross Argent, at sinister, in base an embowed olive branch Vert fruited Sable and an embowed rye ear Vert, crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "TAPÉUS - SOURE".
The crosses are alluding to the Orders of the Templars and the Knights of Christ.

Tapéus Commune is one of the ten communes of Soure Municipality; it had 338 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 14.4 km².
