Introduction

Campinho Commune was separated from Campo Commune in 1988. Both communes were reunited in 2013 but with a new name, probably because Campinho - meaning the little campo - meanwhile had more inhabitants.

Shield Or, a cork oak eradicated Vert peeled Gules and fruited Or between two boars passant affronty Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "CAMPO - REGUENGOS DE MONSARAZ".

Campo Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Reguengos de Monsaraz Municipality (q.v.); it had 688 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 129.40 km².
