About the Flag

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white field. (Note that colour of flag was concluded due to the images of the arms as given in the municipal webpage)

Shield Azure a phoenix Argent flanked by three 8-point stars Or, base wavy of Argent and Azure. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading "FREGUESIA DE PORTO MONIZ".
